“Open Source Software World Challenge” is an annual competition hosted by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning of Korea.
OSSWC looks forward to:
Bring together the gems of open source developers to cultivate developing-skills through cooperated projects which will eventually expand the open source minds/spirit and practices among community.
To cultivate potential committer by sharing creative and innovative ideas for developing open source software.
To empower competitiveness of Korean open source community by providing opportunities for local developers to interact with global developers.
Award outstanding projects to promote open source software among people/society as well as to grow founding community of open source software.
